1、 CE Certification - Certificate Type
1) Declaration of conformity/Declaration of compliance independently issued by the enterprise
2) Certificate of Compliance
3) EC Attestation of Conformity "is a certificate issued by the EU notified body (NB). According to EU regulations, only NB is eligible to issue EC Type CE declarations.
2、 CE certification process for electronic appliances:
1. Fill out the application form, confirm product name, model, quantity and other information, and submit relevant product information
2. Quotation payment, application form and certification information review
3. If the data review is approved, a draft certificate will be made after testing the product and passing the qualification test
4. The applicant checks the draft and if there are any modifications, provides feedback and issues a new draft and certificate.
3、 List of materials for preparing CE certification for electronic appliances:
1. Certification application form (applicant name, address, product name, model).
2. Product manual (instructions for use, emergency response measures, and detailed technical parameters such as voltage, current, and power).
3. Product explosion diagram (i.e. structural diagram), schematic diagram, circuit diagram file data (i.e. design drawings that can reflect creepage distance, gap, insulation layer and thickness).
4. Parts list (parts name, manufacturer, product model, parameters).
5. Copy of the certification certificate for the entire machine and its components (if the certificate is valid, some parts may be exempt from dry testing).
6. Explanation of differences between series models (explain the differences between models and determine whether a series can be merged).
7. Two working prototypes: the one with the most complex structure and the highest power, and the one with the lowest power
8. Copies of business license, production license, and organization code certificate.
9. Other necessary materials;
Note: The above information requires an English version.
4、 What are the CE certification standards for electronic products?
The common electronic products that require CE certification are the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, LVD Directive 2014/30/EU, and Mechanical MD Directive 2006/42/EU
For ordinary DC products, the directive we apply for CE certification is the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. The common standards for EMC directives are as follows:
