On April 5, 2023, the European Union (EU) issued Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/740, which includes a list of the latest toy safety standards that demonstrate presumed compliance with Directive 2009/48/EC (Toy Safety Directive - merged version until December 2022). This latest standard will revise EN 71-13:2021 to EN 71-13:2021+A1:2022, applicable to olfactory board games, cosmetic sets, and taste games, to reflect Directive (EU) 2020/2088 and (EU) 2020/2089 on allergenic fragrances.
The latest list of coordinated standards has come into effect on April 5, 2023.
